Rural Employment Specialist

The Position:
St. Patrick Center is hiring a Rural Employment Specialist due to our agency expanding and so is our Veteran Employment and Training Program. The specialist will will collaborate with homeless veterans from the Bi-State (MO & IL) area placing eligible clients into stable employment and housing. The counties that this position covers are St. Louis and St. Charles counties in MO, and St. Clair County in IL, among other duties. Moreover, the Employment Specialist will utilize best practices to assess the basic needs of clients, make referrals as deemed appropriate, work to employ clients and monitor the employment progress and retention of each client. This position requires some travel with mileage reimbursement.This position works Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. The salary range is between $35,000-$45,000.
